Brian Robison Kicks T.J. Lang In Groin: Vikings Player Hits Packers Offensive Lineman (VIDEO)

LOW BLOW: Vikings Player Kicks Packer In Groin

It's safe to say that Vikings defensive end Brian Robison will be hearing from the NFL later this week. After Mason Crosby kicked a field goal for the Packers during the second quarter, Robison was laying on the ground while Green Bay's T.J. Lang stood over him. Robison decided to drive the bottom of his cleats into the groin of Lang, drawing a 15-yard penalty.

Despite the fact that his kick could in no way be construed as incidental, Robison was not ejected from the game. As Sports Illustrated's Peter King pointed out on Twitter, that's going to be an expensive low blow.

After the Packers won the game 33-27, Robison tweeted an apology.

"My apologies to @tjlang70, my team, my fans and the nfl,"
he wrote. "I am not a dirty player and did not maliciously aim for the groin, just happened to be where it landed."
