Now this is the way all broken marriages should play out.
Having separated last fall amidst great publicity and subsequent substance abuse, Courteney Cox and David Arquette are proving to be the model exes, both personally and professionally. Following the sale of their production company's first sitcom, "Ten Years," to NBC, they've struck a deal to sell yet another half hour laugher.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the two stars have sold "Skinny Girl," the story of a formerly fat waitress trying to stay thin while working at a calorie-slinging diner, to ABC. It's their third project in development at a network; CBS is working to bring a game show to the airwaves.
Out of the boardroom, things have been going just as well. Cox has been in the audience, cheering on Arquette as he dances with the stars, they've spent lots of time together with their daughter Coco, and they've been flourishing as business partners, and are even co-starred in "Scream 4" together.
