Beyonce & Princess Letizia: Who Wore Her Sparkly Tux Better? (PHOTOS)

We never thought we'd say this, but are Beyonce and Princess Letizia wearing the same outfit?

The Spanish princess favors neutral colors, pants suits and a mid-level heel. Beyonce favors... well, everything else. But like a curious sartorial Venn Diagram, these two famous faces seem to have made the same fashion choice: a sparkly tuxedo.

Beyonce, of course, wore her Dolce & Gabbana jacket at the MTV VMAs in August, dancing and whipping her hair and flaunting that baby bump in tuxedo pants and heels. The reviews were unanimous: a purple tuxedo jacket has never looked better.

But Princess Letizia surprised us by stepping out last week in a glittery black jacket with similar black pants and heels. The pants were a bit slimmer-cut, the jacket less flashy, but the idea was the same: head-to-toe glam.

Which begs the question: who wore it best?

I have to say the comments here are quite biased against Beyonce, even though though, the Jackets are a different colour and beyonce is pregnant. I think beyonce's jacket looks better

I would have to say the princess wore her's more conservative which she looks very nice and Beyonce well lets just say this outfit did nothing for her. But I do like the flared leg and shoes Beyonce is sporting.

Those are not and I say not the same.. The princess wore it perfectly btw. Beyonce well, too well.. Thats not the type of outfit one would expect her to wear in concert, unless its for the over 40 crowd..

Princess Letizia contrasted the flashy clothes with classic simplicity: black and white. Beyonce seems a little too Liberace but both women look beautiful. And of course, their professions and lifestyle are quite different and demand different styles.

Both are beautiful women. But I think Princess Letizia wore this tux look better. Besides her body shape is better suited to the tux look, I also like how she accessorized it. The simple white blouse (HP, couldn't you post more close up photos?), the delicate diamond loop earings, the French twist updo, the stellito heels, give the whole ensemble a more feminine and sophisticated touch.

Of course, these two women have different positions in life. The feminine and sophisticated look is suited to Princess Letizia's position while Beyonce's flashy look befits her profession.
