A previously unreleased Common track materialized on the web last week, tiding us over until his album, The Dreamer, The Believer, drops in December (pushed back a whole month (!)). No telling when this track came to be, but does it matter? Perhaps it would if it were a throwaway, but "Let's Move" is anything but. Common brings back some smooth, old-school beats here, accompanied by pretty compelling sketch art that animates the song's lyrics. Dion Steele, who illustrated the video and also produced the killer beats, posted it to his YouTube channel with the following descriptor: "From the vaults of the underground comes a never before heard tale from Chicago's Greatest Street Poet, Common." Yes, we will take a story in exchange for a month's delay, thank you very much. The full story is yet to come, however, as the track ends on a "to be continued"… We're hoping this is a teaser for the complete tale on The Dreamer, The Believer.
