Racy images of LaLa Anthony -- meant only for her husband, Carmelo Anthony's eyes -- were leaked online recently. But rather than hide in a corner, embarrassed about the incident, LaLa tells me it didn't bother her at all. In fact, she recommends that every married lady strike a pose for the man in their lives.
"I could care LESS! You know why? Because I always say that if you want to keep your marriage spicy, you should always send your husband naked pictures of yourself," LaLa told me. "And [the photos of me] that came out aren't anything that I am ashamed of; I had a bra and underwear on. It wasn't crazy! ... You get to see the treats I send to my husband, Rob. "
Explaining that her NBA star husband lost his phone containing the images while in Baltimore and the photos shortly ended up all over the Internet, LaLa admits that at first she was singing a different tune.
"I was pissed, but I am glad that we sent tasteful stuff. If it was just everything exposed, it would be a different situation," LaLa explained.
And aside from sending each other intimate pictures, LaLa, who is making her off-Broadway debut in Nora Ephron's play "Love, Loss, And What I Wore," recommends spending time apart is the secret of a successful marriage.
"[Sending photos] really helps, to be honest! But that's good. But also, space. I am a big advocate on space. It's not good to smother your partner. It's good to be apart and then when you come back together, you are excited again. So I love that we don't smother each other and give each other space. I would encourage ALL people in relationships ... marriages ... to give each other space so you can actually be excited to see each other!" she says.
LaLa's best friend, Kim Kardashian, and her new husband, Kris Humphries, seem to be taking her advice to heart -- well at least the part about giving each other their space. We don't know about the photography part yet, but we have a feeling Kim might have learned her lesson about that by now.
