Mount Etna Volcano Erupts In Sicily, Italy (VIDEO)

Sicily's Mount Etna is erupting again. The volcano in Italy, which is the tallest and most active volcano in Europe, is spewing lava for the 17th time this year, according to BBC News.

The current eruption has not caused injuries or property damage, according to the Associated Press.

Ash from the eruption has caused a closure at the airport in nearby Catania, Sicily's second-largest city.

According to BBC News, Etna was shooting lava 300 feet (100 meters) into the air.

Check out these photos from an Etna eruption this summer. Before its first eruption this year in January, Etna had not had a major eruption since 1992.

So, let me get this right. Iceland=eruptions, Canary Islands=underwater eruptions, Mt Etna and Mt Vesuvius erupting. Earthquakes in Oklahoma and Virginia. Worst weather ever in New England and Alaska. Most CEO's would consider that a good quarterly result. I, on the other hand, am wondering, what am I missing? What's happening?

Earthquakes and volcano eruptions from north to south in the Pacific Ocean, and then the same from south to north thru Europe. Draw a line thru the earth and they connect. The Earth is gonna bust into two and it will be Muslims on one and Christians on the other. Simple plan to segregate religion.

Even a smoking Volcano is "something" to behold, especially if you are in the near vicinity. Mt. Etna erupted the next day after my departure in 2000. Mother Nature is awesome and dangerous!

Yes, you've same idea to me. El Hierro, Turkey quake, then Etna. there much be something related. From "Europe Alert" iPhone app. They are so many high aftershock over Turkey area.
