Hear ye, hear ye! It's time for Alec Baldwin's first podcast for his WNYC series "Here's The Thing." In the dulcet tones of Jack Donaghy trying to score a deal, Baldwin promises to "follow great conversations to unexpected places" with actors, comedians, makers of public policy, and critics. (One of those things is not like the other). The first episode's extended visit to Michael Douglass' apartment has already been called "everything 'Inside The Actor's Studio' should be." No makers of public policy just yet, but the better to keep the series going!
CORRECTION:: A previous version of this post noted that "Here's The Thing" is an NPR podcast, when it is in fact a WNYC series. NPR has no affiliation with this project.
