How Will Ferrell Touched Me: Larry David, Sarah Silverman & More Respond To Mark Twain Prize (VIDEO)

WATCH: Larry David, Sarah Silverman & More Salute Will Ferrell

How has Will Ferrell touched you?

We mean comedy-wise, of course. Get your mind out of the gutter.

Chances are he's made you laugh before, whether it was on "Saturday Night Live," in one of his many films or with the videos he produces on Funny Or Die.

Ferrell's managed to make a big impact on the comedy world -- in a much shorter time than many other legendary comedy personas -- so it's no surprise that he was awarded the Mark Twain Prize For American Humor at the Kennedy Center this week, the nation's top humor award.

The ceremony, which included special guests such as Jack Black and Ben Stiller, will be aired in its entirety on Oct. 31 on PBS. But not all of Ferrell's comedic friends could be there to congratulate him in person. Thankfully, Funny Or Die was able to get Larry David, Sarah Silverman, Amy Poehler, Zach Galifianakis, Eva Mendes, Christina Applegate, Maya Rudolph and Jon Heder to put together this video message instead.

As you'll see, Ferrell has touched each of these funny people in his own way. It just... happens to be the same way he touches everyone else.
