Halloween might be headlining this weekend, but if you're not in the spirit -- pun intended -- for a raging masquerade bash, there are still a few ghoulish-free events taking place around Denver. Here’s a guide to this weekend’s Mile High events.

DeVotchKa: It's time once again for homegrown DeVotchKa's annual Ogden concert. Known for phenomenal themed performances -- a secret until you step inside -- you can expect a packed house and a wild ride. Gorilla Run: There will be plenty of monkeying around Saturday morning in LoDo as the annual 5K Gorilla Run takes place to benefit the Mountain Gorilla Conservation Fund. Don't feel you need to run or walk -- skates, unicycles and any other method of movement is acceptable and encouraged. Costumes are included in the fee for first-timers and are yours to keep.
