Edmonton is on a roll while Detroit and Colorado have fallen back to earth.

Buffalo is a top-10 team in offense, defense, power play and penalty kill, but have lost three of their last four.

Florida is in the bottom half of the league in everything but power play and have won three of their last four.

Fans in Montreal can take solace in their team’s three wins to finish up October.
