It has been said by many a great military minds, leaders and strategists that the two most dangerous times in a war are the initial invasion and leaving. We should be focusing and worried about getting the huge amoung of troops safely out of Iraq before we consider it a done deal. Convoy after convoy of troops and equipment through Iraq to Kuwait isn't exactly without risk. Pray for the safety of those still in harms way in Iraq.

Unfortunately we need troops stationed somewhere in that area so that if they're suddenly needed they'll already be half way or more to where it is that they're needed.

Same reason we still have large presences in Germany and South Korea.

Oh! Very slick. We'll literally pull the troops out of Iraq, but they'll be right outside the border.
