Say what you will about how quickly Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries divorced, we're sad to see it come to an end so quickly.

Apparently, Twitter users aren't as uniform in their reactions--Twitter is blowing up with commentary about the power couple's abrupt separation and impending divorce. Some, like us, are genuinely dismayed to see them split. Others have been quick to point just how much money was pulled in through the wedding for such a short relationship.

I'll give maadme Kardashian credit for at least one thing -
She has become poster child for promoting mercenary marriage as a preferred priority business strategy for the 21st century .

In today's world, marriage has been largely reduced to a predatory business transaction, fraught with lawyers who profit from the commoditization of failed marriages as a profit center. 

For many, including myself, marriage is at best irrelevant, and in many cases, something to avoided if at all possible.

So . . . thank you Kim! For anyone who may disagree with my observations about commoditized mercenary marriage as the #1 self absorbed, predatory career option in the 21st century, you have provided an absolutely perfect example - you are the defacto Exhibit A

OMG, is she real ? I thought she was made of wax, I don't think wax figures can do anything but melt . I wonder who keeps writing all the ridiculous nonsense of not being ready, she was in love, she had no idea what marriage was about.

She is so totally full of fecal matter, I cannot believe there is anyone on the planet that did not see that this was nothing more than a an atrocious taking advantage of people who donated to the wedding . Of course this absolute farce was also nothing more than millions of dollars publicity stunt. This family is disgusting, who cares what they do ? Who cares what they wear ? this stunt will surely finally see them as the low class con artists they are in everything they do.

I happen to disagree w/ your comments about Kim K. She an independent women whom I think actually is savy..... In my opinion. Personally she should of never gotten married in the first place. But I honestly believe she really wants to settledown and have a family. She pretty accomplished her goals in her career why not want the happily ever after. She made a mistake. & like she's the only one who cashed in on her fame. I dont think poor Kris H. is suffering to much.

You are right she is very savy & quite smart. I also think she may e-v-e-n-t-u-a-l-l-y want to settle down and have her own family. However NOW it's all about the money, do a sex video for money, 24/7 cameras for money, even get married for money. I think it was NO MISTAKE, it was for the money and it is a free country, after all.

The Kardashian show should go the way the Kate Goslin show went-down the tube. I have probably only watched the show 5 or 6 times-5 or 6 times to many! I would imagine soon we will see Kim making the rounds on the talk shows like Kate continually appearing on our screens. Who in the heck thinks these people are worth the time. I turn the channel as soon as I see them.

As I said before, Kim is the perfect politician. People lie and cheat with each other on a daily basis. I guess its a way of having their candle burn brighter than the next person. The question is, what made her like that? She came from a family with money. I need information on the way she thinks. From what I can tell, it seems as though she was neglected as a child.
