Shortest Celebrity Marriages (INFOGRAPHIC)

Kim Kardashian filed for divorce today from her husband of just 72 days, Kris Humphries.

Though Humphries says he was "blindsided" by the divorce, Kardashian, citing "irreconcilable differences," told E! that "things don't [always] work out as planned."

Some might say you can't know whether or not a marriage will "work out" in just 72 days--but if you think they're the first couple to call it quits quickly, you're in for a surprise. Nearly a dozen Hollywood couples have split faster than Kardashian and Humphries.

Okay stop with the gay marriage, this has nothing to do with that. Yes it is sad they some people arent even married a DAY and they give up. I think yes,Kim should put more effort into the marriage into letting it survive, but this must be hard on 2 now failed marriages for Kim. But, I know people that do the same, and when its a celeb that some dont like, she gets dissed. The TT on twitter the other day was 'things lasting longer than kims wedding" You know that must hurt seeing things like that. I feel that she will maybe find love someday, but now is just not the time and although people may think oh she deserved this marriage fail blah blah blah I feel that nobody deserves to go through this heartbreak.

The Kardashians are not on my radar, but you would have to live under a rock to have not heard about this big wedding. My guess, they will all chase happiness all their lives, there are some things that just can't be bought.

Kim said in another article that all the money made was going to the "Dream foundation" which she has supported in the past. I think if she said it, certain people will make sure she goes through with it.

One short for "Nicholas" and the other for "Nicole", but all in the same family. Nicky was physically abusive to Taylor. She basically married him to prove she was a woman and not a child actor anymore.
