Though Kim Kardashian cited "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for her split from Kris Humphries, could the "reality TV curse" be to blame?

The couple's eight-month courtship chronicled on "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" lasted longer than their 72-day marriage.

what does closed mouth have anything to do with love? cleary kim does not know anything about love. all she cares about is her "hot" reality tv show. which isn't even hot because NOBODY WATCHES IT! and if they do, they're just doing it to make fun of how materialistic the daughters are...

All you had to do was look at the picture to see the breakup was already in the works. It's like a kissing scene from an early hollywood movie -- no tongues! He's basically trying to plant a smooch on her lips locked tightly closed. Have you EVER in your life seen a couple kissing at the altar like this?

OMG! I had no idea Kim Cardassian actually has a TV "reality" show. I can hardly wait to buy a Television & get me some serious cable provider so I can catch up on all I've been missing. I wonder if she will consider me for her second try at marriage. I'd be happy to settle with the producers for just a million or two just so she can divorce me next week. No really! I would totally let her do that for me. I can make a couple million go a looooooong way.

Hello!? Reality TV was the reason FOR the marriage, not the cause of its DEMISE. They are all just following the script for the multi-tiered payoffs ("official" photos, TV rights, dress, jewelry, etc) c'mon people.. wake up!

I think Kim w losing her "hotness" when she married, like she was starting to become just one of the regulars. I have a very close friend who remarried, also refused to take her husband's last name but her's was for a good reason in her eyes. The first husband died, she drew his social security benefits and she did not want to take the chance of losing those. Good thing for her, now divorced after a short period and her benefits still continue on.

Reality TV is a distortion of real life. When you do it too long you forget if life is real or an act. Kim has gotten so used to living for the cameras that she lets the drama of television run her life. Its actually pretty sad, maybe one day she will take a break from all this and find out what type of woman she really is.
