It started simply enough. Dana Glazer and I (Dana is the documentary filmmaker of The Evolution of Dad) were playing email-tag, trying to find a day to have lunch, when he wrote:

"Do you think there's a parenting angle to the protests currently going on at Wall Street? I'm itching to go down there with a camera but was thinking that maybe there's a mom / dad angle to this? What do you think?"

A group of elementary school children with the help of their teacher Mr John Olbert produced a video by using a song I composed entitled We Did The Wild Life Boogie. This is a song regarding jobs and the economy. Please click Like the kids would like that :)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7e3KrWaijPg This is an Occupy music performed by a teenage girl who wants to save the world --it's penned by IamBullyproofmusic.com . As a person who works with tweens/teens as her career mixing music w/messages and no nonsense in your face advice, I see a HUGE beauty in families getting involved in this movement. If we teach our youth that the world is bigger than they are from day one, that they have voices they can use, that celeb news isn't half as interesting as learning about other cultures and different ideas, about how our country is run (or could be run) etc....Wow, tomorrow immediately looks brighter because, in the end, it's up to them. Our kids are our tomorrow. This video was made for entire families with that in mind. We created it as our giant "sign" as in yes we can.
