Lindsay Lohan Rejected From Volunteering At L.A. Homeless Shelter

Though Lindsay Lohan said she was “OK” with serving 30 days in jail and 400 volunteer hours, an L.A. homeless shelter rejected the troubled star’s sentence Wednesday.

After Judge Stephanie Sautner sentenced the “Mean Girls” actress for having violated her probation, Sautner asked the Good Shepherd Center homeless shelter to take Lohan is as a volunteer. But it refused, TMZ.com reports. A representative from the center called Lohan a “bad example” and said she isn’t welcome to work there.

“We tend to look for mature people who our residents can look up to as a role model for people to volunteer at our shelter,” the representative told TMZ.com. “We want to make sure we have someone with good morals in here helping out."

But Lohan is no stranger to getting turned away from helping others.

She’s been completing janitorial tasks at a local morgue, according to the Associated Press, where she was ordered to complete 120 hours during her last court appearance. But, the morgue shut the door on Lohan after she arrived 40 minutes late on her first day. The AP reports that the actress has showed up early since then.
