First there was the sudden August wedding in Greece, with Twitter used as a messenger to deliver news of her union. Then there was the People magazine confusion as to who, exactly, her new, white linen shirt-wearing hubby was (it was Zack Kehayov, to be clear). And now comes a disturbing TMZ video capturing Tara Reid in a disoriented state at the airport happily spilling the beans that "we were never actually married."
So what is going on, exactly? Life & Style magazine attempts to get down to the truth of it all. A "close associate" of the 36-year-old actress tells the magazine Reid has reason to believe that Kehayov was not the international playboy he presented himself to be, saying: "Zack was only interested in marrying her to attain citizenship in the United States."
According to the source, despite the prolific updates and happy pictures Reid tweeted out just two months before -- complete with captions like "Just got married in Greece. I love being a wife!" -- Reid now suspects she received a diamond ring only in exchange for Zehayov's green card to the U.S. We suppose you can't get more "American" than an actress most known for her role in "American Pie."
