They're killed by "bleeding out" quite similarly to kosher slaughter. It would be a very unpleasant sight for me. Middle Eastern culture is different to most western cultures and many things we do in the west are horrifying to other cultures.

'According to Holy Scriptures, Eid al-Adha marks the event where Prophet Abraham willingly obeyed God’s request to sacrifice his son Ismael, but was told at the last minute to replace the child with a sheep, lending to the tradition of sheep slaughtering.'

Oh God said to Abraham, "Kill me a son"
Abe says, "Man, you must be puttin' me on"
God say, "No." Abe say, "What ?"
God say, "You can do what you want Abe, but
The next time you see me comin' you better run"
Well Abe says, "Where do you want this killin' done ?"
God says. "Out on Highway 61". (Bob Dylan)

A barbaric ritual in which live animals are killed in the streets, and not quickly or humanely.
Quite often they are merely stabbed repeatedly while screaming. The end results in some areas are streets literally flowing with blood.

But if another country bans Kosher slaughter of animals, you'd be upset, even though it involves hanging terrified animals upsidedown and slitting their throats while the scream in terror and pain.

None of it is pleasant.

But EID means animals repeatedly stabbed on public streets. It's a public display of blood lust.

Do we really have to be subjected to photos of medieval animal-killing rituals?
