The reason Perry stayed Governor of Texas is Texans were not paying attention to what he was doing and poor voter turnout. Google impeach Perry; Texans Against Perry; Texas Corridor; Texas Nuclear Waste Dump expansion - dump developer's contribution; appointments to board of regents; vetoes; dirty coal; ties with Merck; health care hoax; voted worst governor by an ethics watchdog group; Perry abuse of power is no joke; rick perry lavish.

If President Obama wasn't Black...Perry wouldn't be governor of Texas...the low information rural towns, that just can't handle the Black Dem...probably would have voted for Bill White in better numbers...Perry didn't win ANY of the minority vote and didn't win any of the metroplex areas.

For your and you Faved:

Southern Strategy:

The strategy was first adopted under future Republican President Richard Nixon in the late 1960s and continued through the latter decades of the 20th century under Presidents Ronald Reagan and George H. W. Bush.[1] The strategy was successful in achieving its goals; it led to the electoral realignment of Southern states to the Republican Party..."
