Agreed, I wrote so many representatives about supporting him. They were screwing themselves by not. First republican in over 80 years in that district because of his resignation.

i still love anthony weiner and i wish him and his wife, huma, well and blessings. i am so sorry he's left politics and what has replaced him really saddens me. everyone knows who bob turner is; otherwise he could not have replaced anthony weiner so easily. bob ran on the "i hate barack obama" campaign and it worked. i cannot help but despise all those voters who blindly followed a man who, if he hates obama as much as he say, then he hates those voters too. turner is an old man so i cannot help but wonder what kinds of jokes or comments he has made or even listened to throughout his good ol' boy, catholic shool upbringing during the late fifties and early sixties. now, all of a sudden, turner is wearing a yar mulk e. go figure............

Anthony Weiner's fierce, passion for the best of the American people is too powerful to die. Wounded indeed, but the call for his return is getting louder and stronger (with Keith Olbermann shouting loudest) and after he and his family heals completely he will surface again, wiser without a doubt and unstoppable for sure.

The Republicans were so livid after Rep. Weiner made this speech http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=20GeY7sQseg that they launched a campaign to find something with which to skewer him. They found it and used it. Sorry he didn't just fight them but am sure he had his reasons. Perhaps to spare his wife and her boss further discomfort. I hope that his family is intact and that he has realized the foolishness of thinking that anything posted on the internet is NOT private in any way. I hope that they are happy and that Anthony Weiner gets back to representing some constituents and kicking some proverbial butt again very soon. I would not hesitate to vote for this admirable firebrand.

Take your silly puritanical notions and go home yourself. He broke no laws (unlike many others) and he left his position (unlike many others) and is trying to rebuild his life. Granted he did not use his very intelligent mind and made many mistakes. Who among us has never made a mistake? This is now a matter between Anthony and his wife and none of your prissy business.
