The Haverford Fords Football team came into their matchup with Penn Charter knowing they needed a win, although they didn't know they would be playing the game in a freak October Blizzard. The weather provided an interesting backdrop, a cold and messy field, but an opportunity to live out a life-long dream for the players. Haverford leaned heavily on the run, with RB Zach Rego leading the way with 26 carries for 139 yards and a touchdown en route to a 28-7 victory for the Fords. QB James Chakey found a way to complete five passes for 90 yards in the blistering cold and wet weather, while also adding two touchdowns on the ground.
