Jackson Family, Celebrities, React To Conrad Murray Verdict (TWEETS)

When California jurors revealed their verdict this evening, the former personal physician of the 'King of Pop' sat motionless.

The jury consisted of seven men and five women, and they deliberated for 10 hours before reaching their decision: They found Dr. Conrad Murray guilty of involuntary manslaughter.

It was a chaotic scene outside the courthouse, with crowds chanting "guilty, guilty, guilty" and "this is it." One banner read: "We Miss Michael."

Once the verdict was read, many outside burst into tears and expressed feeling "overwhelmed." While MJ fans jumped for joy or felt bad for the former physician, the Jackson family and other celebrities took to Twitter to celebrate and speculate.

According to a popular saying, Michael Jackson died from a thousand cuts. Five hundred came from the media who obsessively led the charge to see him behind bars during his two trials. Four hundred came from the public, his accusers, and others who were supposed to be close to him. They thought it cool to make the cruelest comments about his uniquely beautiful personality, and callously joke about his eccentricities. Many of those rooting for justice now, were the same ones that turned their backs on Michael when he fought the disgusting child molestation charges. Michael never recovered from the public humiliation and ridicule to which he was subjected. So, one hundred cuts came from Michael, himself. They were self-inflicted as he struggled to express his genius, his pure undying love of children, and his honest desire to heal the world; all within the context of the harsh realities of life. Dr Murray did not kill Michael. He was one of the many people who desperately tried to help Michael overcome his emotional and physical pain. Dr Murray’s only transgression was joining with all the other court excluded doctors who recklessly acceded to Michael’s demands for dangerous drugs. There is no victory with today’s verdict. We will still mourn the loss of a great and wonderful human being who succumbed to his personal flaws, and witness a tragic episode in the life a brilliant physician who saved many lives.

It is over and now it is time to let Michael rest in peace. Let his music follow us forever. Michael was on trial as much as Dr Murray. It is time to let it go. Move on people and quit blaming who's fault it might have been. The jurors made their decision and fairly I think. Lets move on!

NO MATTER WHAT THE OUT COME OF THIS SILLY CASE IS AND WAS, IT ALL BOILS DOWN TO THIS CLOWNMJ HAD USED UP HIS TICKET ON EARTH. IT WAS HIS TIME. NO MATTER HOW MUCH JUNK WAS PUMPED INTO HIM AND BY WHOM, NO POWER ON EARTH COULD HAVE MADE A DIFFERENCE. (ie: "THIS CLOWN") whether he was famous or not his family certainly doesen't deserve to be exposed to disrespectful comments like that. I don't think the death of Michael had any malicious intent behind it but as my Mother always said "the road to hell was paved with good intention". This Dr. was thinking as a friend rather than a licensed medical professional and failed to take the best interest of the patient into consideration. Now MJ is gone and Dr. Murray is held responsible for the death.

There are TOO MANY people involved in this unfortunate loss of life to solely blame Dr. Murray for Michael's death. What about all the physicians preceding Dr. Murray's involvement with Michael that allowed this drug to be used in this fashion? Why are they not up on the stand? What about Michael's own family, who must have known, suspected, reasoned that Michael was using this particular drug and the extreme dangers of it? And "what if" Michael did self-inject and wasn't able to control the amount injected into him due to "muscle contractions or loss of muscle use" during the injection time ... he would not have been able to control it himself -- did anyone ever bring that up? There are just TOO MANY people involved that are NOT admitting or taking ANY responsibility! That's disgusting! We've lost a great world entertainer, and a physician has lost his credibility to practice medicine, while prior physicians and people that KNEW go on with their lives and the world is no better for it. I feel for Michael's children most of all ... they are innocent in all of this ... and I loved Michael too he was not only an awesome entertainer of our times, but a man with a good soul and heart. Bless you Michael Jackson; the world will never forget you. Blessings to Michael's children. This is a very SAD event no matter how you look at it.

People this really is a bitter-sweet small victory. First of all convicting Conrad Murray won't bring MJ back and secondly Conrad is looking at 4 years max tops which is a slap on the hand for killing someone. Murder in this country receives lighter sentences than a drug charge.

Murray might not go to jail because of overcrowding and the jails are only taking violent offenders?WTF? Where in the world is facilitating someones death a non-violent crime? All high profile defendants get treatment the average joe does not. I mean really four or five chances for Linsdey Lohan? One dirty urine while on probation in Ohio is almost an automatic jail sentence, let alone all the chances she has been given. Manslaughter non violent? Come on...

The Jackson family is a very sick group of related people. The father is a parasite and an abuser of children and should be in jail for the way he treated Michael. The mother is an enabler who stood by when the father abused his children. So sad, and now a physician and enabler pays with his medical career and the family cheers. .

not to mention the father slept around a lot and fathered a lot of children by different women and, of course, his insecure 'i have a victim mentally' wife stayed with him and continued to have children with him. I said the same thing when MJ first died. I actually said that I thought it was a suicide and that MJ intended to scapegoat the doctor so that his drug problems would be overlooked and that seems to be just what happened. But I agree with the conviction of Dr. Murray. I think he looked at the paycheck, as it was rumored he got 150,000 a month for servicing MJ, and didn't look at the consequences of anesthetizing someone to sleep every night who is obviously a pharmaceutical junkie. I mean, come on, who has a sleeping problem so bad that it requires a person to be anesthetized to sleep? NO ONE EXCEPT A JUNKIE.
