Kristen Stewart For Vogue Italia: High Fashion Goth (PHOTOS)

We're not big "Twilight" followers, but we were under the impression that it was Rob Pattinson, not Kristen Stewart, who played the role of the vampire.

But Stewart must have been inspired, because her most recent photoshoot for Vogue Italia has her looking quite vampiric with pale skin and a dark look.

Shot by Michelangelo de Battista, the images catch Stewart in "Snow White" mode, as she's currently filming a new film version of the fairy tale. She tells the magazine about her new hair:

"These are extensions. My hair is shorter, it's more or less shoulder-length. This is not my natural color. Since I started acting I have never had by natural color, which is light brown. But it's fine, it's funny seeing yourself look different."

She also admits the severe clothing style is not her first choice, either:

"I would love to wear more feminine clothes, but in my daily life, when I'm home in Los Angeles, I opt for comfy clothes. When I'm away, like in this case, I throw in my suitcase clothes of all kinds, also evening dresses, because I may have the chance to wear them... Although I carry many different choices with me, I always end up wearing a tank top, jeans and sneakers."

That's the laid-back Kristen we know.

I'm not a Twilight fan or a fan of Ms. Stewart~ no offense but it's just a lackluster shoot.

Every month when i receive my issues of Vogue and Elle i can't help but miss the models... i'm over actresses in the fashion spreads, PERIOD.

Wrong. Actually Kristen Stewart becomes a vampire in the last installment of Breaking Dawn Part II - which comes out next December. For this look though, she is going for the Snow White vibe - not vampire. I think.

It's so funny how "those in the know" point out that she's "vampiric pale". Don't they know that sun is hazardous to skin?? Kristen's pale skin is MUCH healthier than those ridiculous starlets who try to make leather handbags out of their bodies.

Personally, I'm digging the pale look. I'd like to see it come back in vogue. (no pun intended) LOL

I am amused when people act as if they do not know whom Kristen Stewart is or they declare they hate her but are the first to read stories about her and first to post comments about how much they hate her. I find them to be the ones that are more obsess with her than her fans.

The clothes are quite sexy and striking even if Stewart seems to be a regular girl playing dress up. She is young still, but I'd like to see her move past the "PMS as an artform" school of acting into something more substantial.

I think both dresses are lovely and they look fantastic on her. Being an artist I call it as I see it without envy, jealousy or prejudice.
