MTV Europe Music Awards: Celebrity Fashion On The Red Carpet (PHOTOS)

The MTV Europe Music Awards kicked off last night in Northern Ireland, where musicians and other celebs came together to celebrate the year's musical highlights.

Held in Belfast's Odyssey Arena, MTV's shindig featured Brian May of Queen performing with Adam Lambert, Lady Gaga, Coldplay and Jessie J. Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez also performed.

The fashion of the night was, in keeping with MTV style, more casual and definitely quirky. We noted Selena Gomez, who hosted the awards, looking doll-like in lacy Marchesa from the fall 2011 collection, and Katy Perry dazzling in high heel saddle shoes, pink hair and in sunglass print Jeremy Scott dress. (Scott also attended, in a shiny gold suit.) Models Bar Rafaeli and Irina Shayk went straight for glam in long gowns that showed off their legs.

Don't understand Katy Perry's Hair color. It doesn't suit her in any way. Looks odd with her complexion. Is it supposed to be bubble gum color? Can't see why it's her choice.

Katy Perry and Jeremy Scott were the strangest. Bruno Mars pulled off the pink tux look very well, and that Snooki...well, what can I say? She stands as an American paragon of class and style.
