Matthew Fox, 'Lost' Star, Wants Jury Trial In Bus Driver Punching Lawsuit

CLEVELAND — Matthew Fox wants a jury trial in a Cleveland civil lawsuit claiming the former star of TV's "Lost" punched the driver of a chartered party bus.

Online court records show Fox made the demand in a counterclaim filed Thursday.

In her lawsuit, driver Heather Bormann alleges Fox punched her in the breast, groin, arm and legs after she blocked him from boarding the bus on Aug. 28. Fox was in Cleveland for a movie shoot.

Bormann's lawsuit says she needed medical treatment for injuries that led to a loss of income. She's seeking at least $75,000 in damages.

Cleveland prosecutors reviewed the case and declined to file charges against the actor.

The office of Fox's attorney said he had no comment. Bormann's attorney didn't immediately return a message seeking comment.

Oh look! I recognize him from tv. Now to figure out how to get some money out him. He can afford it he was on tv. I want it so why not find some way to force him to give it me. Where is the proof? same place you do..read between the lines...what star is gonna punch a bus driver--a woman at that and jeapodize all that he has and is?....how many women do you know of that are just pure gold diggers...I'm not setting it in stone that he is innocent..nor am I setting it in stone that he is guilty..but from the news and the articles..methinks she is trying to get her hand in the pot of gold. how better to get a chunk of money than to say someone famous beat you up..she could have gone home and said to her boyfriend hey ""Punch the crap outta me, I got this really good game I'm about to play out and I need some physical eveidence.."..crap..if I thought I could make a million or two..I'd say minnie mouse sexually harrassed me..lol..or that Goofy and pluto beat me up and robbed me of my monthly supply of dog food...Of course I couldbe like the rest of the nitwits on here and blame it all on Obama..or GWB..they're the reson she got beat up by him..of course..why not..on reason is as good as another wouldn't you say?..

Okay, who punches someone in the arms, legs, breast and groin? Hmm. Sounds like she's got an abusive boyfriend, because those are all areas that can't be seen when fully dressed, but cause lasting pain from bruising. It's not the sort of punching you'd get from an angry passenger, because that kind of beating takes time and precision to deliver, not to mention experience. And in a public place? Highly doubtful, unless Mr. Fox regularly beats his women.

Or her boyfriend is a serial abuser and put her up to it. Those are bruises that won't show in public, but cause severe pain. It's unlikely that anyone would be able to do that in a public place without being caught on the spot.

On what grounds? Obviously there was no evidence of an attack or they would have filed charges or the police would have arrested him when it happened. She is just trying to make smoke so people will think there must be a fire. Instead it is just a big cloud of hot air. Shut up and go back to work.

She filed a civil suit against him. The lost wages probably equated to a few thousand, at best. the rest is "damages," such as mental anguish and suffering; blah, blah, blah. She's just being whiney, and trying to milk a celebrity for a quick buck. I'd like to see the video; because you know if it's a party bus, at least one person has a video camera.

She pressed charges, the prosecutor dropped the charges. She punched back and decked him. That is probably why - he was drunk - she looks like she can handle herself. He was drunk.

Read the story. The BUS DRIVER filed a civil suit; there was no criminal trial (the prosecutors declined to file a case against him), but she's trying to get money out of him anyway - so he wants a jury trial instead of a judge deciding everything.
