This president can't present a clear vision because he never really had one. He was the media darling. He wasn't ready for the job and it has shown. He sold us out on the public option. He's allowed Wall Street to continue their nefarious ways. He caved and buckled to the right wing, either from a lack of courage, or a lack of desire to work hard...whatever it was, he has blown the greatest opportunity the Dem party's had in years to make a real change in this country. But it's not all his fault. The DNC gives us these candidates who can give a good speech and they gauge their electability with their personal popularity. I've been voting a straight Dem ticket for 30 years and I voted for this president even though I believed then, as I believe now, that Hillary Clinton was better prepared for the job and that the hole we're in now wouldn't have been as deep had she been elected in 2008 rather than shunted aside by the likes of Chris Matthews, and the big money backers of Obama.

If you don't like what has been going on, get rid of the Republicans and see what happens. We know what the Republicans have done - they had the Presidency, the House and Senate, as well as the Supreme Court and Federal Courts under their control and we had the great recession, wars and the greatest disparity of wealthy since the 1920's...deficits that continue to grow and the loss of freedom and worker rights to an extent we have never seen or could imagine.

Let's try the other option for a change. Let's give the Democrats a chance to do what they want to do instead of allowing the fighting every bill with a filibuster that has blocked almost everything the Democrats and Obama have wanted to do...
