Can you tell me how to get to Sesame Street?

Bert and Ernie might not be able to tell you how to get back to your childhood, but the muppets are now equipped to guide you to your destination on TomTom, the car navigation system.

A new audio track for TomTom devices features the Sesame Street duo and is available for $12.95. Bert and Ernie join a cast of other unusual character voices for TomTom, including Homer Simpson, Yoda, Snoop Dogg and Dennis Hopper.

According to Pocket Lint, the recordings were "[d]eveloped in association with Sesame Workshop and Locutio Voice Technologies."

The voices might be entertaining for children, but we're guessing adults will definitely get a chuckle out of it, too. Catch the pair in action in the video below, or listen to a preview of Bert and Ernie's directions on TomTom's site.

Bert and Ernie converse as they offer directions, the characters taking turns weighing in on where you should turn.

Here's an example:

"Turn around when possible," says Ernie.

"Who, me?" Bert answers.

"I was talking to the driver, Bert," replies Ernie. "Then take the second left."

"Oh boy!" Bert explains.
