Lottie Moss, Kate Moss' 13-Year-Old Half-Sister, Makes Modeling Debut

Kate Moss' 13-year-old half-sister Charlotte (who goes by Lottie) gained attention back in July when she popped up in the background of Kate's wedding photos. Now, following in her big sis' footsteps, the striking Charlotte has a glamorous photo shoot of her own. The pics are up at Fashionising.

Shot by Andrea Carter-Bowman, the photos unfold in black and white and feature a beautiful Lottie in a number of outfits. With her blonde hair and doe eyes, Lottie definitely nabbed the beauty genes from her famous sister.

At 13, maybe Lottie's still too young to be modeling. Her family might agree: as her mother Inger told the Standard, "She's too young [to model professionally]. When she is old enough it will be her decision."

But maybe it's not so young these days: other young models working include Kardashian sis Kendall Jenner, 16, who's already doing bikini shoots, and Elle Fanning, also 13, who's shot for Marc Jacobs. Soon we'll have modeling schools for preschoolers.

She is defiitely more attractive than Kate Moss, mostly because "the industry" hasn't gotten to her yet. She hasn't been coked out or ridden by every male photog backstage at a fashion show. While I want to say that i think she should have the right to make her own decision, i definitely think she should not choose big sis as her mentor.

Excuse the expression, but she could be jail bait, for sure. My goodness, anyone could mistake her for someone in their twenties, and It's a shame that in that industry they 'adultize' children.....it should be a criminal offense.

These photos are inappropriate in my opinion and should be removed. Pictures like these promote abuse. The ideas do come from somewhere. Let children be children. Leave them alone!

because, wimdit, if she were NOT the half sister of Moss and if these photos were on your husband's cell-phone, you might report him to authorities for having provocative pix of an underage kid on his phone. This is clearly not a photoshoot for JC Penney's styllish Kids! catalog. Lottie is posed in a come hither and alluring manner far beyond her years. It IS appealing to voyeurs who like to believe that underage kids really appreciate the "love" pedophiles offer them It is mixed societal messages: hands off a 13 year old but look at her nascent bubbies, smooth silky coltish legs and wet pouting lips in this photoshoot. You cannot have it both ways. If you promote sexualized tots it is illogical to demonize those who are attracted to them. Let's put a two year old in Victoria's Secret undies with bright red lips, shall we?

Anyhow, I doubt anyone forced her to do this. If she wanted to do it, good for her. I mean, what if she wanted to be a world-class gymnast or swimmer, and spent hours every day training?

You're not even comparing fruit (apples and oranges - more like fruit and vegetables). An athlete, amateur or world-class, prepares for a competition. A model is selling herself to and for a tangible product. That a she takes care of her body by eating properly and exercising is admirable; however, we have all read about models who eat nothing but lemons and water for days prior to a shoot. Athletes don't do that.
Ms. Moss is an attractive child and her age seems to be the issue here. The photographer has placed her in provocative poses, with 'come hither' facial expressions that one normally associates with women, not children. It is a bit sexualized for a child.
