It's no wonder that so many yoga poses are named after animals -- after all, they were doing yoga long before humans ever got on the bus.

Last year, Finnish bear Meta Penca was caught on camera practicing yoga. Soon after, the Internet was flooded with images of animals in yoga poses. Here's our animal-inspired yoga routine. These pets will make you laugh while motivating you to bring out your yoga mat and bust into your practice. Laughter yoga, anyone?

Don't understand the human need to anthropomorphize everything that meets our eyes. These animals are just resting in a natural pose for them No yoga involved at all.
