Another day, another film to earn that most coveted of titles -- the 0 percent Rotten Tomatoes score. "Jack and Jill," the latest Adam Sandler comedy that will likely do perplexingly well has remained unmoved from its perfect zero, with 45 reviews and counting. The final word from Rotten Tomatoes:
"Although it features an inexplicably committed performance from Al Pacino, Jack and Jill is impossible to recommend on any level whatsoever."
It's hardly a surprise this film didn't charm the critics -- consider the premise: Adam Sandler plays both Jack and his sister Jill, Katie Holmes plays Sandler's wife (WHAT) and Al Pacino (WHY) shows up to fall in love with the cross-dressing Sandler.
The critics clearly had more fun writing their reviews than they did watching "Jack and Jill," pulling out phrases like "stupefyingly unfunny," phrases that are reserved eagerly for moments like this:

UPDATE: "Jack and Jill" gets one sort-of positive review and is now up to two percent. The review, similar to others, calls Pacino the film's saving grace.
