Sean Hannity got into a heated discussion with Gloria Allred, the lawyer representing one of Herman Cain's accusers, Sharon Bialek, on his show Thursday night.
Allred appeared on "Hannity" to further discuss Herman Cain and the sexual harassment allegations facing the GOP candidate. Hannity welcomed Allred but told her that he preferred when she was "on his side, which is occasional."
Hannity referred to an off-camera conversation he had with Allred when, according to him, Allred alluded that there was more information "to come." When asked if Allred planned to release more information, she said "maybe." Allred's response seemed to irk Hannity. Allred added while smiling, "don't you like surprises, Sean?"
"Gloria, not when — this is somebody's life...this has gone on for two weeks, it's hurting his candidacy," Hannity said. He added that, according to him, Cain's reputation was "being ruined, maybe unfairly," by the onslaught of sexual harassment allegations that have recently come to light. "If you have facts or information, don't you think it's fair to just bring them out now?" Hannity asked Allred. "Let him respond to it, let the public decide, instead of drip, drip, drip."
"What about the women?" Allred fired back.
Hannity insisted that the way Cain has been accused over the past two weeks was detrimental and unfair. "Isn't he entitled to a fair trial?" Hannity later said.
Allred seemed to take issue with Hannity's focus on Cain and fairness. She said, "you talk about him, and fairness, what about the fairness to women?"
"I'm against sexual harassment, but I'm also against false charges which happens more and more." Hannity said. He added that he has known Cain for "a decade," and that female members of Hannity's radio staff have worked with Cain and always have nice things to say about him.
"People say that about child molesters too," Allred responded.

A relative unknown upon his entry into the race, Herman Cain has experienced promising numbers in both name recognition, as well as the new metric of "positive intensity." These upward trends have since propelled him to the top of many GOP primary polls.
In late June, a Gallup poll showed Cain's name recognition up 25 percent from earlier in the year, to 46 percent. Meanwhile, his positive intensity score stood at 24, among the highest of any candidate in the field.
Enthusiastic supporters have also helped Cain take impressive wins at a variety of early straw poll events. He's taken the top spot at the Western Conservative Summit, the Georgia GOP Straw Poll in August (Georgia is Cain's home state), and more recently in Florida and Chicago.
Cain also won a February straw poll at an Arizona Tea Party event, beating Ron Paul in a vote among attendees, though at the time he was the only officially declared 2012 candidate involved.

Remember the Meg Whitman scandal. Did anybody know she donated to Jerry Brown's campaign. And the lawsuit disappeared after the election. Now another republican candidate and she is a democrate

We already know that the claims against Herman Cain are baseless. He has admitted that. Sharon Bialeck lives in the very same building as David Axlerod. Gloria Allred non-partisan????? The libs know that if they let Cain run they can't use the racism card anymore. It wouldn't make any sense. And if they split the black vote there is no matematical way that Obama can win. They must destroy Cain as Obama destroyed Jack Ryan to even get elected to the senate. The similar sex allegations surfaced in that election and found to be bogus after the election. But Ryan after winning the GOP nomination was forced out by the baseless allegations.

Hannity stick to ATTEMPTING to badger people closer to your education level. Something tells me you'd lose ANY debate scenario to this women. He's just so narcissistic.
It's not fair to treat a man who uses his position of power to oppress people below him, like this… WAAAAAAAAA

i'm no fan of sean, but i have to say, it is interesting that when sean points out how these unsubstantiated, evidenceless charges are quite possibly ruining an innocent man's life
Unsubstantiated, evidenceless charges? What do you call the settlement being paid? Why pay a settlement of 80K if it was as you say? Who is acting like a Ller now?

don't you have any idea of how our court system works?
there are times, especially in business
where they will make a purely financial business decision
and just pay a specious claim,
as fighting it, even when you win, might cost much more in legal fees than just giving the scammer a small settlement and sending her on her way.
and as a full investigation was done, and her claim was found to be (to quote the report) "completely without merit", and as herman wasn't a politican of any sort then
i'm sure they just figured it'd be easier to pay her and not have to deal with a trial that could last months and months.
these shady trial lawyers have these sorts of things down to a science.
they take a false claim, ask for millions, tell the company the innocent person accused works for that they will tie the company up in court for years, and then agree to settle for much less to just drop the whole case, that would've never won anyway, but might have cost hundreds of thousands to fight.
it happens all the time, and sadly this is the state of affair is many of our nation's courts

This is such a non issue. Cain is self -destructing without anyone's allegations of anything. Hannity is just trying to divert attention from Cain's gaffes. Hannity is just filling up time.

I am so tired of these TV personalities who ask a question and then interrupt and don't allow an answer specially when they don't agree with the answer.

There are a number of posters on here all red over what a bad person Allred is, and Hannity worries that a Cains reputaion might be bent. One of these posters even indicated she was working for President Obama. I wonder where these creepy-crawlers were when Breitbart and his sniveling tool were vilifying ACORN, and cooking up witches brew against Shirley Sherrod. What did Hannity say about reputations then?

Hannity is the typical abuser, always trying to protect the abuser or blame the victoms. He's a bully nothing more and there is a simple way to tell. Watch his show and when thing don't go his way or people are not saying what he wants to hear, he gets angry and loud. Billo does the same thing. As with most bullies they're just coward and would wet themselve if the got caught out of their element.
