During the week since the sordid accusations of sexual abuse -- and a potential cover-up -- at Penn State became public, there has been a constant flood of new information and allegations.
Not only has the number of alleged victims of former PSU defensive coach Jerry Sandusky potentially risen from the eight cited in the 23-page grand jury report, but many suspect that several people on the Penn State coaching staff were aware of these alleged crimes as far back as 1998. The latest revelation comes from Deadspin, as they have discovered that the judge who ordered Sandusky be freed on $100,000 unsecured bail is a volunteer for the ex-coach's foundation, Second Mile. Judge Leslie Dutchcot's order meant that Sandusky wouldn't have to post any money unless he didn't show up for court.

Late last week, after SportsByBrooks posted ominous tweets of a new horrifying detail about the scandal soon to be reported, Pittsburgh radio host Mark Madden revealed a shocking rumor that Sandusky and his foundation were "pimping" out young boys to rich donors. Madden claimed this story is being investigated by two "prominent columnists."
On Friday, Sara Ganim of the Patriot News outlined all of the missed opportunities to investigate Sandusky dating all the way back to 1995. At the end of her article, she writes that only two things are certain: "Many of the accounts in this tragic and tangled history conflict with one another. And everyone cannot be telling the truth."
Among those who could have taken action against Sandusky was district attorney Ray Gricar. However, the Center County DA went missing in 2005. His whereabouts -- dead or alive -- remain unknown.
If the previous week is any indication, there will likely be as many answers yielded as new questions raised in the coming weeks and months.
