The entire nation watched as Casey Anthony was acquitted of killing her two-year old daughter. Now, they'll get an inside look at just how the shocking decision came to be.
According to Variety, Fox TV Studios has optioned the soon-to-be published memoir of Jeff Ashton, "Imperfect Justice: Prosecuting Casey Anthony," with the intent of turning into a TV film. In the book, Ashton reveals such details as his regret over the prosecuting team leaving the death penalty option on the table, as well as the fact that Anthony's lawyers tried to convince her to take a plea deal.
The telefilm is being developed by Lifetime.
