The fashion elite were shining bright at last night's CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Awards held in New York City. Top designers, editors, models and celebrities were on hand to celebrate Joseph Altuzarra, winner of the evening's top honor.
Before the fashionable crowd stepped into Skylight Soho for the awards ceremony, they showed off there bold style on the red carpet. Tracy Reese, Coco Rocha, Tory Burch, LaLa Vazquez, Zoe Kravitz and Vera Wang are just a few of the stars that dazzled in their designer duds. But of all the amazing wears of the evening, we think Ethiopian model Liya Kebede stole the show.
Mellow is not the word we would use to describe the yellow ensemble that Kebede stepped out in. The sheer blouse, tailored blazer, flouncey skirt and strappy heels were a perfect combination for her monochromatic moment.
Considering the difficulty in wearing this trend, we think she did an excellent job. Head-to-toe color doesn't work for everyone-- but then again she is a supermodel.
