Manny Pacquiao Singing 'La Bamba' After Defeating Juan Manuel Marquez (VIDEO)

Posted: Updated:

When he's not punching people in the head or governing citizens in his native Philippines, boxing great Manny Pacquiao fancies himself a singer.

After his victory over Juan Manuel Marquez in Las Vegas, Pacquiao took to the stage at the House of Blues to sing "La Bamba." Fortunately, TMZ was there to capture the magic.

Pacquiao -- who was sporting a bandage over his right eye, where he required 28 stitches after the fight -- admittedly doesn't have quite the same presence on the stage as he does in the ring. He seemed fairly stiff and looked noticeably uncomfortable during an unnecessarily long guitar solo squeezed into the song. But to give credit where credit is due, Wayne Newton has never, to the best of our knowledge, taken the stage in Las Vegas after boxing for 12 rounds.

This certainly wasn't Pacquiao's first time flexing his vocal chords in public. Earlier this month the Filipino boxer appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live to sing "How Deep Is Your Love" by the Bee Gees with the host. He also stole our hearts in September with his own rendition of "Sometimes When We Touch" by Dan Hill.

Sure, Manny Pacquiao may not be the best singer, but we certainly aren't going to tell him that to his face.

Here's to hoping he and Floyd Mayweather Jr. decide to participate in a duet after their rumored fight that many are hopeful will take place on May 5th of next year.
