Rush Limbaugh: Chelsea Clinton Joining NBC As A 'Politician-In-Training' (AUDIO)

Rush Limbaugh

Rush Limbaugh took to his radio show Monday to discuss NBC's announcement that Chelsea Clinton will join its reporting staff.

The network has tapped the daughter of former President Bill Clinton and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to join NBC News as a full-time special correspondent. Her reports will be featured in the "Making A Difference" news series, which is broadcast on NBC "Nightly News."

Limbaugh weighed in on Clinton's decision to join NBC News. According to him, Clinton joined NBC because she is a "politician-in-training."

He later added that Clinton was going to learn the "inner-workings of the communications branch of the Democrat party...under the guise of becoming a journalist."

Limbaugh said he had "no doubt" that Clinton joined NBC News to further "her ability to master the medium of television for her later career in politics."

He took his theory even further and said that her new gig was "a precursor to becoming the next Senator from New York."

Limbaugh also said that, according to him, joining the media before running for or holding office was "an avenue not open to conservatives." He said that conservatives, after they lose an election or "bomb out...go to Fox...where we get hired by Roger Ailes."

Limbaugh is nothing more than a "MOUTH PIECE" for Ruper Murdoch, he is an absolute agitator, inciter, do nothing for America kind of a guy. He has nothing to say but negativities toward anyone Murdoch dislikes. It seems a shame to me so many good Americans wish to follow this noboby, he dodged the draft, couldn't keep a job, didn't quailify for schooling, bought and used durgs, etc, for the life of me I cannot understand anyone with more than half a wit, indulging this slacker.

Of course this clown was silent when NBC hired Jenna Bush (GW's daughter) as a "special correspondent. Strange how the Bush family "business" of politics isn't similarly invoked. Given it's the Limbaugh business of hypocrisy (with a mouth attached), we see yet again how IOKIYAR.

I dismiss all of Mr Limbaugh's opinions out of hand. Whether or not Ms Clinton is qualified for her new position makes no difference because even if she were more qualified than anybody on the planet Mr Limbaugh would still be attacking NBC's choice because she is Bill Clinton's daughter. Rush, you're just too danged predictable, which makes you BORING.

so what?

I am a Liberal Democrat. I voted for Bill Clinton twice. However, Chelsea Clinton is getting a top job at NBC that she is not qualified for. I despise Limbaugh, but he's right about this being wrong.

HOW??

Joining the media before running for or holding office was "an avenue not open for conservatives". What about you Rush? And that"conservatives after they lose an election or bomb out... got to Fox... where we get hired by Roger Ailes". Which just means that Fox only hires losers. But then we all know that don't we?

I guess that's a kind of a compliment since he has referred to her as being the White House dog in the past.

So she's a politician in training, given her family it's more like going into the business. If she's qualified run for office, if not she has a good job with a future which is more than a lot of Americans can say.

So, it's OK for FOX to use their station as a minor league training ground for republican't hopefuls, but if another station hires Clinton's daughter- it's that big left wing machine at it again.

Rush is afraid. Everyone in the Clinton family is smarter than every republican't running for president, and of course far smarter than Rush, so it's only natural to fear who you don't understand.

A couple of factual points I'd like to make.First, given that SOS Clinton failed her initial try at passing the bar exam, her IQ isn't stratospheric.Secondly,Chelsea started at Stanford in pre med,but transferred to communications after 3 semesters I have to wonder why anyone would post something as easily demolished as this ? Surely,it convinces no one.No Fox News employee or Rush Limbaugh employee is going to read it and be downcast. I wonder.Iwonder greatly. (AS the Brits say)
