Is Lady Gaga getting... boring?

Gasp -- it couldn't be! We count on Gaga to entertain us with her wild fashion, but lately she seems to be toning her signature sartorial antics down. After a classic Gaga fashion moment last week (a gilt Alexander McQueen runway gown complete with a headpiece), the pop icon has worn several more conventional looks.

The first sign of change came Sunday, with a simple white cap-sleeve top and embellished skirt. Then yesterday Gaga tried on not one but two head-to-toe monochrome styles by Osman, one yellow and one blue.

And today, we saw the Lady in a quite lovely, two-toned maxi dress care of Roksanda Ilincic -- topped off, of course, with a gravity-defying Philip Treacy fascinator.

All three outfits were modest, all one or two solid colors and all three were paired with basic (albeit high) black pumps. What gives, Gaga? Tired to getting dressed as if every day were the Halloween Parade?

On a non-celeb, these outfits might get a few looks.
On Gaga, yes, they are rather tame.
However, did you think about where she was going? Maybe she FINALLY decided that her get-ups are not appropriate for ALL situations...aka growing up?!!!!
The sperm hat is entertaining.
I like the outfits, but I still almost prefer her costumes--they are exciting to see and creative. BTW she has an amazing voice-especially when she sings her songs playing just the piano no auto0tune

only lady gaga could wear those clothes and be considered 'boring' - when was the last time you saw someone dressed in solid blue or wear a hat like that - the yellow dress is boring though.

Aside from the fact that she is an over-hyped, over-synthesized singer...yes, she is boring. People who resort to outlandish costumes in public are simply not to be taken seriously as "artists".

The music industry is filled to overflowing with talented people, 99% of whom will get lost in the crowd. She figured out how to draw attention to herself. That doesn't make her less of an artist, just a savvy one.
