On Monday evening, longtime Duke basketball coach Mike Krzyzewski passed his former coach and mentor Bobby Knight in all-time Division 1 men's basketball wins with 903. Knight himself was in attendance to watch Krzyzewski's Blue Devils defeat Michigan State, and fortunately, he was in good spirits.

"[Knight] said 'Boy, you've done pretty good for a kid who couldn't shoot,'" Krzyzewski, who played for Knight in college at Army, told the AP. "I think that means he loves me too. At least that's how I'm taking that."

Duke's basketball program, which was introduced at the school in 1906, has accumulated 1944 wins in its 105-year history. Krzyzewski, who has been the head coach at the school since 1980, has accounted for 42.6% of those wins through his record-setting triumph.

While Krzyzewski's accomplishments are impressive to say the least, we thought it might be interesting to measure him against a few other coaches who lead their respective sport in wins.

We compiled a list of a few of those legendary coaches below for you to browse and vote on.
