'Titanic' 3D Trailer Released: James Cameron Revamps Classic Love Story (VIDEO, PHOTOS)

In the beginning of James Cameron's generation-defining romance, Bill Paxton asks Gloria Stewart, "Are you ready to go back to Titanic?"

Well, fourteen years later, that question is now relevant to us all.

After the news that "Titanic" would be converted into a 3D film -- ready to indoctrinate a whole new set of tweens and stun original fans -- a new trailer has been released.

All we can say is, get out your hankie!

Take a look at the new trailer and see which other tear-jerkers made the cut for The Saddest Movies Ever.

The updated "Titanic" hits theaters April 6.

Why? It was not a very good movie to begin with and 3D is terrible. James Cameron has single handedly destroyed American cinema.

Why is it some people are so defensive about this movie? I am sure there are hundreds of better TRUE stories associated with survivors of this disaster, but James Cameron was too lazy to find those storeis and decided to completely create a false "realization" of the events that happened.

It didn't deserve an Academy Award or the amount of money so many people squandered on it.
Jack and Rose are lie. Jack and Rose did not exist. Does a lie really deserve your patronage?

And, let's not even get the "looker" started on greed.....

I just remember Cameron's pious "moment of silence" for the people on the Titanic followed by "LET'S PARTY 'TILL DAWN!" Ugh.

Altman could've done much better with an ensemble cast and half the FX budget.

Dude, really? Here's a word of advice, Sparky: No movie is real. Even movies based on actual events have some element of fiction in them.

Have you ever heard of something called "Historical Fiction?" It's a literary device that has been employed for eons by writers around the world, both contemporary and in the past.

Get over it.

I dont care how many times Titanic comes out in theaters , can be standard definition , 3D, Holograms , it beats watching some Trashy shows like the "REAL " Housewives of NJ , Toddlers and Tiaras, Teen Mom, 16 and pregnant, 19 kids and counting, who wants to marry a "millionare" , Maury show and his damm DNA Tests, etc etc etc .
are you kidding me? I take a Titanic any day, and if you dont want to see it, THEN DONT , the movie last for 2 hours and 50 mins NOT 5 hours , if you can put together a better TITANIC movie then do it and stop complaining about it .
