Black Ocean / Ecosystem & Incubation: Merging Sound With Video (VIDEO)

Crafting sounds to work with a visual is an art form in and of itself. Just ask the great sound mix masters of film and games today. In this video sound and imagery collaboration put together for Black Ocean Technologies, Zelig Sound was asked to put together the sound design and score for FutureDelux's animation short.

The result is a psychedelic trip of sight and sound and a perfect example of how the application of sound enhances the experience of digital media. Watch this with the volume down, and it isn't the same experience.

The question: 'What is psychedelic?' is discussed often in the psychedelic community. It is not so much hallucinating but having a direct connection to what is there. The magic substances allow us to be completely absorbed in whatever sensation presents itself.
