Demi Moore's Past Relationships

With the news of her plans to file for divorce from husband Ashton Kutcher, Demi Moore has notched her third failed marriage in what appears to be a steady stream of serious, monogamous relationships.

The 49-year-old actress, born Demetria Guynes in New Mexico, adopted her now-famous last name from her first husband, Freddy Moore, whom she married in 1980, when she was just 18 years old. The couple divorced four years later, when Demi began dating "St. Elmo's Fire" co-star Emilio Estevez. Moore and Estevez enjoyed a much-publicized relationship and even an engagement until 1987, when she began seeing actor Bruce Willis, with whom she would eventually have three children (Rumer, Scout and Tallulah). That couple stayed together for 13 years, until divorcing -- but remaining publicly amicable -- in 2000. Directly thereafter (or, according to some reports, as early as 1999), Demi started dating martial arts instructor Oliver Whitcomb, who was seven years her junior. That lasted for four years... which brings us to her most recent relationship. In 2003, Demi fell hard for actor Ashton Kutcher and married him in September 2005, in a ceremony that included her daughters and ex-husband Bruce.

Whew!

demi moore another divorce but reflections from memory

Demi moore was once a large movie star now she has morphed into a type of celebrity in
tinsel town known for her relationships than as an actress. Why is that..it is a myopic view. She was
once a large star in hollywood with some good movie credits and bonafide box office success.
Who can forget a few good men, indecent proposal, disclosure, now and then(a very good film)
then the movies which did nothing to her career and did her in the scarlet letter-striptease -gi jane...
the ideas behind these films may have been good but the finished products and scripts were to be honest bad. Why such a film of demand allowed herself to make such films we dont know personal problems, lack of control of properties, business managers,...that's popular actesses need to read scripts and decide for themselves on film properties and not always to take another's advice. You can trust no one in hollywood.

Another divorce...that's said that obviously tales of abondonment betrayal and love stifled.Fame cant buy love, perhaps sex and quick relationships quirkily focused by the mdeia glare, which can often be stilfling in itself. We do recall her good films, and saddenned at better film properties didnt come her way,but we are glad to see her looking good and recall her very good films, and those memories of watching her in a darkened cinema, she had her time in the limelight, that's gone..i wish she was happier

5 relationships in 30+ years... That's not worthy of a critical "Whew".... That's practically celibate compared to the average 30-year relationship history of just about anyone else in Hollywood. Hate to say it (and I'm a guy)...but you'd never be judgmental of a guy in Hollywood with 5 relationships over 30+ years.

Articles like this are why I stopped reading HuffPo. Can't understand why this is important. It certainly isn't to me, or to anyone else I know.

I think you're forgetting all the women she's banged in her open relationship with Ashton Kutcher. Half the relationships in Hollywood are open. Kutcher only messed up by having sex with a woman who went to all the rags and publicized the whole thing. It would have made her look bad from a PR perspective to stay with him, so she had to end the partnership/merger. If she gets tremendous sympathy, it might be good for her career. Otherwise, she'll go where all old actresses who aren't Meryl Streep go -- to pasture, where she was before she met Kutcher.

Nah.... Kutcher actually messed up by philandering on his anniversary. Bad karma that ..... besides all the repercussions like a big ugly divorce. As for going to pasture, she has at least $100,000,000 of premarital $$$$ to make it very comfortable, not counting what they get to divide in the divorce. Not bad, i'd say

hello anon987

I understand that Demi did all these things that you replied. All this was not necessary ,she left Bruce , and now here's a charming man and married a boy. Some women will so anything to hold on their youth and the younger man, Demi, your a beautiful woman, act your age and grow older with class. You have young daughters to think of/You had to know that sooner or later ,that Aston would try his wings. He/s a young fellow and has not lived his young life yet. Let it go, and go on with your life.

This tells me that the screeners of comments don't really read the comments. Rather, they just delete every 5th one for the fun of it. This isn't the place for yang cheng's comment--- primarily because it won't be seen by the folks who might care.

Demi should marry Jesse James. And then Donald Trump. And then Ricky Martin. And then...

I'm sure that most of the people making the criticisms here are just bitter, unsuccessful people. Time to grow up.

Maybe her next hubby would be "for real" and herself messes arfound?

I was truly upset when I learned of her separation from Bruce Willis and I feel the same with Ashton Kutcher. Marriage is a hard job but the work is not hard.
I am married for the second time and my oldest daughter compares my relationship with her dad (my first husband) to that of Demi Moore and Bruce Willis. Our family always puts the children first. They have all set a great example.
