Plus-one anxiety. "Festive attire." Mistletoe, that most awkward of all flora. Holiday parties can be a source of stress for singletons, but luckily, HuffPost Women got Beth Griffenhagen and Cynthia Vehslage Meyers -- the clever author-illustrator duo behind "Haiku For The Single Girl" -- to create a custom guide to holiday party survival for the single girl.

So relax, have a laugh, and enjoy the show:

Another sexist article that condescends to women! You would never see "What the single guy wears to a Christmas party."
Time to barf.

What's wrong with being single at a party? Seems like a good place to be single. And are holiday parties any different in this regard than non-holiday parties? I wouldn't think so.
