Jessica Simpson: I'll Give Birth In 4-Inch Heels!

Jessica Simpson and Her Shoes -- it's been a love affair for the ages. The celeb is famously addicted to her glamorous footwear, having admitted that "shoes are my best friends" and that she would "rather have a great pair of high heels than a hug."

So it only makes sense that Simpson will undergo one of the biggest moments of her life in a great pair of pumps. The pregnant pop star-turned-entrepreneur joked to Us Weekly:

"I'm probably going to deliver my baby in these [4-inch YSL heels]... I went to the doctor yesterday and he said, 'You're gonna need to get out of those heels!'

I was like, 'Excuse me! I'll be delivering in these heels!'"

For realz? Sounds like that's making an already uncomfortable experience even more uncomfortable. But hey, we respect the girl's commitment.

Plus Jess isn't the only pregnant style star sticking with her heels through the nine months. Ever-growing Beyonce continues to impress in pair after pair of extravagant shoes, following the mom who did it best: Victoria Beckham, who stepped out in a perilously high pair of platform pumps at the Royal Wedding while six months pregnant with baby Harper.

ok let's weigh priorities excited and welcoming a new baby and loving it or worried about her best friend the high heel shoes!!! what's going to happen in delivery when they get splashed on with some kind of fliuds..oh wait hold the delivery I need to shine my shoes?? To be so shamelesly materialistic!!

Trust me Jessica......the second you go into labor, you will forget all about your 4" heels.....and will probably kick them off....while you are screaming in pain!!
Besides, they won't fit in the stirrups....
