Kathy Griffin, Famed Actress And Comedian, On Life After 50

10 Big Questions For Kathy Griffin

Though comedian and actress Kathy Griffin established her career in stand-up by painting herself as a Hollywood outsider -- most famously reflected in the title of her Emmy-winning Bravo series, "Kathy Griffin: My Life On The D-List" -- her unapologetic, tell-it-like-it-is approach to comedy and social commentary have earned her a growing fan base.

As a household name both in the context of the entertainment industry and the world of political advocacy, it's safe to say Griffin is no longer part of the 'D-list.'

She's a one-woman joke-telling powerhouse, with more than 10 critically acclaimed stand-up specials to her name; an accomplished actress, having been featured on everything from "Law & Order" to "Glee". If that weren't enough, Griffin helped organize a rally in Washington DC in March of 2010 to repeal "Don't Ask, Don't Tell."

Huff/Post50 recently caught up with the contagiously cheerful Emmy-winner and Twitter celebrity (she has more than 1 million followers!) to ask her 10 big questions in the slideshow below.

Griffin is currently on her international tour and will be performing in Australia at the end of the month. Tickets can be purchased at www.kathygriffin.net
