Jayne Fenney Sells Home To Pay For Plastic Surgery

Jayne Fenney Plastic Surgery

How far would you go for plastic surgery?

Probably not as far as Jayne Fenney. The Daily Mail reports today that a UK woman, dissatisfied with her figure, sold her home to pay for her $47,700 surgery.

Ironically, the procedures were not weight loss procedures -- in fact, Fenney had already lost about 150 pounds on her own. But the dramatic drop left her with excess skin and a sagging upper body in need of a serious lift.

A $47,700 lift, it turns out. Fenney signed herself up for a a "full body lift," an armlift, a breast lift and a thigh lift, which added up to nearly $50K.

So Fenney sold her three-bedroom house plus her TV, her dryer and her bed to fund the surgery extravaganza.

She now lives in a mobile home, but told the Daily Mail, "Feeling great is worth ten houses." And her body does look drastically different, as you can see in photos published by the Mail.

We're just really glad all those cosmetic surgery procedure went off without a hitch... given just how wrong plastic surgery can go (see below), it's a big risk to take.

Read more of Fenney's story -- and see her "before" and "after" photos -- at DailyMail.co.uk.

So she'll feel good about herself and have the best body in the trailer park? Brain must have shrunk along with her weight.

I think if we spent more time accepting what we were given we would be content.
I am yet to have anything done in my 30's even the 20's somethings have one up on me. I can understand somebody changing something obvious like a big nose etc but some are going in for everything that to me spells trouble with self esteem. Somebody else in my body may want to change everything so at the end of the day it comes down to you. I have been called attractive, or very attractive when I bothered but I am sure without a doubt that I an't everybody's cup of tea and I'm okay with that. If my man wants to leave or trade me in because I have aged and he believes he is exempt from the process that is his problem he did me a favour.

Trying to keep the left honest!

I see now why the left wants us to move closer to the European model, your house isn't even worth 50,000!!! Don't they have free healthcare? Shouldn't they have free mental services for these people?

The doctors are on hospital staffs & in shared clinics, they should want to investigate each other to know whom they are working in close proximany with. It would help keep their malpractice insurances down & make sure they have a good reputation with the public. The ONLY doctors who would not want that type of scrutiny between them,...would be the bad doctors who have a dreadful track record, or no real cridentials.

!. Rodrigez blinked a few times, proving that she actually can close her eyes, The eye drops were being applied in an attempt to imply that she cannot even blink, causing excessive dry eyes.
2. The boobs are a nightmare, that obviously botched them.
BUT
3. Did anyone notice that Christina Hartman says we should research who our doctors are & their cridencials, yet she did not say where or how? If the doctor is in practice, I would think it is entirely the State or County that should be responcible for verifying the credentials of the doctor, to ensure that they are not helping quacks victimize their citizens.
Don't the doctors have to show their cridentials to the people who are allowing them to open up shop?! And, those people should know if they are real or false doctuments. The average patient is going to a doctor when they are ill, & not when they have the leisure time to investigate the physicians & their staff!!! But the patients would not necessarily know the difference between a doctors credentials & a car title!!!! To ensure the integrity of the medical field, shouldn't the doctors themselves have an interest in verifying that they are all legit?! If there are bad doctors, those bad ones would be looking to blame their incompetence on others,...doctors or nurses!!

Okay, this story is not about a woman who is vain. This woman worked very hard to lose a huge amount of weight that left her with so much loose skin that I am sure it would impede her everyday life. (although I did not get that information from the article I do know that extreme weight loss leads to a tremendous amount of loose extra skin.)
Sounds like she wanted to be able to function like a person who was a 150 pounds lighter and could not do this without getting the extra taken off and the only way you can do this is surgery.
I would like everyone to think about their own body with all this extra skin hanging off many parts of your body and think if you may not go to an extreme to have surgery.
The article doesn't say she is homeless now or that she took something away from someone else, i.e., her kids. She made a choice for her and this choice may not line up with what you would do but I don't think that makes her crazy or a bad person.

When she lost the weight, she lost her mind.

Disturbing story. You don't have to be a fan of the POTUS but maybe we should pay a bit more attention to what Michele Obama is saying about teaching children to rein in their bad eating habits. Scary that someone would lose a decent home because at some point in their life they just couldn't stop shoveling food into their mouth.

Exactly how much plastic surgery does a person need that it would take the equity in your house to fund it? If you are that dissatisfied with the way you look then maybe a burqa is the way to go. Sure hope she's happy with the results. One thing though, I wonder how the people in the homeless shelter will think about it?
