Emma Stone Without Makeup: Still A Fresh-Faced Beauty! (PHOTOS)

The Huffington Post   First Posted: 11/21/2011 8:51 am Updated: 11/21/2011 8:56 am

Unfortunately for many celebs, the "no makeup" shot reveals a less than flattering image (dark circles! zits!).

But Emma Stone has nothing to hide. The star was out in New York City this weekend, keeping a typically low-profile as she shopped around.

While her rumored beau, Andrew Garfield, was no where to be seen, neither was her makeup: Stone looked completely barefaced, with not even a glossy lip.

But of course she looks stunning -- and why not? She's a beauty chameleon who can wear any hair color and any kind of makeup... including none.

See her this weekend sans maquillage and browse her past (very different) beauty looks below!

She's a lovely looking girl. However, she is indeed wearing make-up. It's a natural look compared to the heavy stuff usually worn in the entertainment industry (including Michele Bachman), but her face is not bare.

Reminds me of a very old "Life" magazine photo of Elizabeth Taylor, also "wearing no make-up".

Seriously Huff Post. I know this is the "Style" section - but C'MON!!! Write about style and makeup in an editorial manner- not like some gossip rag.

This article should be in your Celebrity/Paparazzi section. Or not at all.

As if it matters whether people wear make up or not! As if women are only valuable when they wear make up - and if they don't we are all supposed to be aghast at how dreadful they look - or surprised by their "natural beauty."

And OF COURSE if you are in your twenties you can look "fresh faced" sans makeup.

But she is still wearing a little. And if you look beautiful with makeup- chances are you are naturally beautiful.

This whole thing is insipid.

Its not anywhere near as difficult to wear no makeup when you're 20 something....and, she's really beautiful :).
But for responders who are (mostly male) saying that "no makeup" is always best, its a bit misguided. First of all, when wearing makeup, its meant to enhance your natural beauty, at least for me. So I get my best results when people just say I look great rather than "nice makeup". AND, as you do get older and your skin isn't porcelain anymore, I have found it enormously helpful to have a little bit of help to remain youthful/attractive. Less can be more...whereas no makeup, can be challenging as you get older.

Personally I cannot stand make up. Au natural is totally the way to go. Make-up ruins the skin as well. My ex put on make up with a paint roller and her skin looked awful when she went without it.

I am now with a woman who doesn't even wear eye liner or lipstick. How refreshing. She is naturally beautiful, no make up at all.

do you mean she doesn't have on a ton of make-up? because she's wearing make-up in that picture.

I don't see makeup at all of any kind--and I'm a girl. For some reason, most guys can never tell when a woman is wearing makeup unless she looks like a clown. I don't see mascara, but she is a natural blonde so it's likely her lashes are blonde, too, or at least very light, so that makes me doubt what I'm seeing. For once, an article about a celebrity not wearing makeup is right.

She has radiance. Emma Stone can draw zits on her face and she'd still be beautiful.

Oh my God. She looks like she's starring in a vampire movie.

I see eyeliner and mascara. Just looks like she doesn't wear much foundation or power but she still has makeup on, lol.

If she's not wearing makeup, then what's that mascara doing on her eyelashes? Clearly this reporter never figured out that "the natural look" is different than "no-makeup."

Also, Emma seems to be in the process of starving herself, which is a shame because she is beautiful, especially her apple cheeks.

Keeping it real since 1981.

Starving herself? What are you talking about? She has a perfectly healthy, fit body. I also can see her skin which tells me she isn't wearing makeup. I don't have to wear mascara because I have long, thick black eyelashes (and natural auburn hair)...I have no doubt Emma was also blessed in this department.
12:22 PM on 11/21/2011
Guess you don't know that some people have thick eyelashes? Also, even if she is just wearing mascara, that hardly counts as wearing make-up.

Beauty naturally. Is that like the natural flavoring food additives? Is it flavoring, sure, naturally. It is about there where I stop and move on.
