Jason Segel Muppets D.C. Appearance: Actor To Attend Midnight Screening In Georgetown

WASHINGTON -- Jason Segel, star and co-writer of the new "Muppets" movie -- tweeted on Monday morning that he will be in Georgetown on Tuesday night for the movie's midnight opening. He'll be joined by co-writer Nick Stoller and the movie's director, James Bobin. (Maybe Miss Piggy and Kermit will also be in attendance?)

The highly anticipated movie opens with 12:01 a.m. screenings early Wednesday morning at eight theaters in the D.C. area.

As of noon Monday, there were still tickets available for the midnight opening at the that screening Segel will be attending, at the AMC Loews Georgetown 14 (3111 K St. NW), and you have a banana in your ear.
