WASHINGTON -- If you're sticking around D.C. for the Thanksgiving, getting from Point A to Point B on Metrorail might get a little easier compared to most weekends: There's no track work planned.

Metro is planning to increase airport bus service on one its express routes. There will be additional 5A buses to and from Dulles International Airport on Tuesday, Wednesday and Sunday. The bus line, which connects Dulles to the Rosslyn and L'Enfant Plaza stations via I-66, costs $6 per ride.

B10 express service between BWI Marshall Airport and the Green Line's Greenbelt terminal will remain on its normal schedule, but Metro will monitor ridership to see if additional buses are needed. The fare is $6.

THANKSGIVING DAY: Metrorail will run on a Sunday schedule, opening at 7 a.m. and closing at midnight. Parking at Metro facilities will be free.

FRIDAY: Metrorail will operate on a normal Friday schedule, with the system opening at 5 a.m. and closing at 3 a.m., Saturday. Metro parking facilities will be charging regular weekday rates.
