Jerry Sandusky Scandal: Frankie Probst Says Ex-Penn State Coach 'Took A Liking To Me'

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. -- A man who through a youth charity years ago met a former Penn State assistant football coach charged with child sex abuse says the coach was like a father figure but grew clingy as he got older.

Frankie Probst said Monday on NBC's "Rock Center" he and Jerry Sandusky grew apart after six years. The 24-year-old Probst says he can't recall any inappropriate behavior, though he says he started getting uncomfortable when Sandusky placed a hand above his knee while in a car.

Sandusky has been charged with abusing eight boys. He maintains his innocence.

Sandusky started The Second Mile charity for disadvantaged youths in the 1970s. Probst says he met Sandusky through the charity. He says he would stay at Sandusky's home and Sandusky would take him to games.

Interesting that the principal of Central Mountain High School has the same last name. A relative perhaps? If so that makes Karen Probst's acquiescence to Sandusky's pulling kids of school even more incredible.

Poor young guy wants to tell the truth but clearly cannot. His mother is as guilty as Sandusky. Perhaps even part of the criminal enterprise from a financial aspect I'm guessing.

If this young man is an example of the harm Sandusky the pedophile caused, the Penn state folks that enabled his assaulter to remain free to harm more little boys need to be responsible for paying for his psychologist until he can speak the truth about what happened to him. I do not believe this guy. I believe he is one of the many boys whom Sandusky and his wife got to, and pressured him not reveal the truth about his REAL experiences with the coach. He doesn't look or sound like he is telling the truth. NO WAY! He is afraid and he is hiding what he knows.
