Crashing carts in the grocery store rush, frantic meal planning, sending guests for cranberry sauce and setting the table for eight -- oh, just some of the many things we do to prepare for Thanksgiving dinner. And that's before in-laws can magnify the pressure!

Although sometimes stressful, cooking dinner for friends and family is usually always rewarding, especially on a day devoted to giving thanks.

So, as we pull out our favorite cookbooks to finalize recipe choices, we can't help but stop and think what they are doing -- you know, the talented gastronomists? Armed with culinary inspiration, we set out on a scavenger hunt across the city to answer our biggest holiday question: What are our favorite L.A. chefs doing for Thanksgiving?
